What is a pillow? It is related to wedding rings.?
When my boyfriend was looking at engagement rings, he said the salesperson mentioned him buying me a pillow…I have no idea what that is.

Did he mean cushion? Could be a misunderstanding. The only thing I can think of is a cushion cut diamond. Its basically a square shape, but the edges are rounded. Its a very popular (and expensive) cut of diamond right now. Or as others mentioned, he/she could have been talking about the ring-bearer pillow, but I don’t know why a jewelry store salesperson would worry about the ringbearer pillow. Did you ask him to clarify?

If you are having a ring bearer in your wedding (usually a small boy), he would carry the rings on a decorative pillow. It’s usually made of white or ivory satin with lots of ribbons and lace and small ribbons on top to tie down the rings.
This is purely optional. Many a couple has done just fine having the Best Man carry the rings in his pocket.
Is he talking about the pillow the rings are sometimes carried on by the ringbearer in the ceremony? Thats the only thing I can think of.

small pillow that a young boy carries in the procession with the flower girl..The rings are stiched with a single thread to it so he cant drop them. Not a good idea in my opinion to trust the rings to a child. I prefer to have the best man take charge of them and let the small boy (if one) carry a prayer book
It could be the pillow that the ring bearer carries the day of the wedding with the wedding rings.
