What are some good/unique wedding favors?
I don’t want anything corny or something that looks like it came from Family Dollar. I want something nice & unique. Any ideas? My wedding is being done in purple if that helps.

Thank you everyone for the ideas! I am thinking about going with the homemade goodies in a cute little box/bag and a sticker with our monogram or something on it. Its not an extravagant wedding, less than 75. But I really appreciate every ones feedback!

What should I call the two people who will stand at the door for my wedding reception and greet guests?
In addition to greeting guests, these people will make sure that guests sign the guest book, they will hand out favors, direct gift-givers to the gift table, and direct guests to their seats. However, they are not ushers as they do not physically show guests to their seats. I would like a unique/special way to address these two people on my wedding programs. Thanks.

Hi all!
My best friend is getting married in May (I’m her matron-of-honor) and she asked me to help her think up ideas for wedding favors. Her colors are shades of blue and lavender, and she is in Florida—the wedding will be outside on a terrace overlooking the ocean. It’s an afternoon wedding.
