The ring holder we used was actually kept on a small table that we had under the archway with us. It was a custom made mini coffin (Hey, my wedding was the day before Halloween!) so we definitely wanted it to be seen by everyone.
Our second choice was to have the best man stand up and just hand them over.

You can do whatever you’d like!

My husband and I didn’t have a bridal party at all – including a ring bearer. So what we did instead was wear each other’s rings on our right hands until the time came to exchange them. Hubby had mine on his little finger and I had his on my middle finger.

I had considered asking our mothers to hold them for us, but we decided to do it this way instead.

The best man just holds on to them. No special presentation of them down the aisle. I think the preacher just asks him for the rings, and the best man takes them out of his pocket or something.

The best man carries them. He carries them instead of the Maid of Honor because he has pockets and she does not.

There is no ring pillow for the Best Man, they just go in his pocket. Also, you never give the ring bearer the real rings, children can’t be trusted with something so important.
