Don't use super glue, try a craft or fabric glue first to attatch the slipper. If there is a way to sew it on, I would try that first.

There are lots of trim options available. Check out a Michaels, AC Moore, Jo-Ann Fabrics, or Handcock Fabrics near you - they will all have a variety of laces, ribbons, pearls, etc. that you can use to decorate your pillow.

No. Use transparent hot glue with a hot glue gun on the bottom of the heel and on the sole of the shoe under where the ball of the toes would sit. Paper glue probably won't stick (unless you have extra special paper glue!). While if you look closely you'll be able to see the hot glue marks, this would be true of any glue you use. The important thing is that your guests won't be able to see these marks.

You should outline the shoe so that it's clear to everyone what it is. Take craft wiring that matches the color of your rings (so silver wiring for silver rings; gold for gold, etc.) and glue it to the edges of the shoe - around the opening of the shoe and then around the sole of the shoe and down the heel.

If you want to be clear that it's a glass slipper, and if you want to add a touch of color, then you could consider stuffing the shoe decoratively with pink and white tissue paper. The problem with this might be with guests realizing the rings are there. In this case, instead of putting the rings inside the shoe's toe, tie or glue them so they sit on the top of the toe (you should be using fake rings on the ring pillow anyhow - the real ones should be with the minister or in your best man's pocket and your maid of honor's hand (or wrapped around her bouquet with ribbon if she's afraid of dropping the ring).

Good luck! This sounds like a great idea!

I am assuming the shoe is plastic and not real glass.

If that's the case, I would heat up a needle or small, Philips head screwdriver or awl over a flame, then punch four small holes in the bottom of the shoe...two (right next to each other, like button holes) at the front and two at the heel.

Then, sew the shoe onto the pillow using some white or "invisible" thread. Just sew it on like a button.

I would also reinforce it with some clear-drying craft glue, but few glues work well on plastic and fabric. So the sewing idea may be your best bet to ensure it doesn't come off!

You could also cut some foam to fit the shoe, wrap it in fabric, and then loosely baste the rings to that, rather than worry about them loose in the shoe. Just a simple stitch that isn't tied off or tight would keep them anchored but allow them to be removed easily.

Hope this was helpful!! Congratulations and best of luck!!

Can the shoe be tied to the white pillow with pink ribbon? And you can decorate with lace.
